In particular, for rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, currently, IR 504 raw rice has increased by 100 VND, fluctuating at 7,700-7,800 VND/kg compared to before Tet; IR 504 finished rice fluctuates at 9,500-9,700 VND/kg; OM 380 raw rice has increased by 100 VND, fluctuating at 7,400-7,500 VND/kg compared to before Tet; OM 380 finished rice fluctuates at 8,800-9,000 VND/kg.

Regarding by-products, the prices of by-products fluctuate from 5,500 - 7,300 VND/kg. Currently, the price of broken rice fluctuates at 7,100 - 7,300 VND/kg; the price of dry bran decreased by 100 VND, fluctuating at 5,500 - 5,600 VND/kg compared to before Tet.

Recorded in localities today, the amount of rice arriving is sporadically, buying and selling transactions are slow. In Sa Dec ( Dong Thap ), the amount of rice arriving is sporadically, transactions are few; rice of all kinds is relatively stable, warehouse purchases are regular.

At retail markets, rice prices are the same as yesterday. In many localities today, the supply of rice for sale is low, new rice transactions are slow. In Dong Thap, new transactions are slow, traders mainly check prices, the number of purchases is small. In Can Tho, the demand for purchases is low, purchasing power is not much.

In An Giang, new rice transactions are sporadic, with traders mainly checking prices. In Kien Giang, farmers offer a lot, new transactions are slow, and rice prices are relatively stable. In Soc Trang, there is a good supply of rice for sale, with most buyers taking orders before Tet.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices today are stable compared to last weekend. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 405 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 380 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 318 USD/ton.
