Specifically, in Gia Lai province, coffee is traded at 115,300 VND/kg (up 2,500 VND/kg).
With the same increase of 2,300 VND/kg, coffee prices in Lam Dong and Dak Lak provinces increased to 115,600 VND/kg and 115,500 VND/kg, respectively.
According to experts, this upward trend is likely to continue in the coming time. However, the increase is not expected to be too dramatic, because September and October are the off-season periods.

Meanwhile, pepper prices today in key growing areas increased sharply again by 1,000 VND/kg, pushing domestic pepper prices to 150,000-153,000 VND/kg.
The highest purchase price is recorded in Dak Lak and Lam Dong provinces at 153,000 VND/kg. In Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai province, the price is 152,000 VND/kg. In Gia Lai, pepper is currently at the lowest level at 150,000 VND/kg.

Domestic pepper prices increased due to a sharp decrease in supply, while export demand from businesses remained very large.
