Over the years, Mr. Chuyen has always actively promoted and mobilized people to do business and reduce poverty. Mr. Chuyen shared: To take advantage of land and water resources, I actively transformed the structure of crops and livestock. In my opinion, if I do it first, the villagers will follow. Currently, my family has 1 hectare of coffee, 1 hectare of macadamia and 8,000 m2 of fish pond. Combined, each year the model brings my family an income of over 150 million VND. Seeing that my family's combined model of crops and aquaculture is highly effective and requires little labor, many households in the village gradually learn to follow.

Mr. Lo Van Tuan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quai Nua Commune, said: Due to the highland terrain, the livelihood development of the villagers was mainly low-yield farming and spontaneous livestock raising, so life was very difficult. Since 2009, when the coffee planting project began, Mr. Chuyen, the head of Bo village (before merging into Bo Giang village), has been one of the pioneers in converting the crop structure. At the same time, as the head of the village, a prestigious person in the community, Mr. Chuyen actively mobilized the villagers to work together.

In 2015, the district started a macadamia planting project; Bo village was also one of the first villages to convert. Thanks to his position and prestige, Mr. Chuyen encouraged the majority of people in the village to learn and follow suit. To make the most of the available advantages of the locality, in the valleys in the area, village elder Chuyen encouraged people to build ponds for aquaculture, grow elephant grass as food for fish and other livestock. Currently, the whole Bo Giang village has 144 households, over 600 people (36 poor households). From the combined models, households in the village gradually stabilized their lives, the economy developed, promoting sustainable poverty reduction.
