In Hai Van ward, since September 27, the ward's functional forces have focused on implementing the work of preventing and combating storm No. 10. Specifically, the ward has zoned off and warned of landslide-prone areas and evacuated people in areas with high risk of landslides (Ta Lang, Nam Yen and Pho Nam villages). The functional forces have also patrolled the mountainous forest area, mobilizing about 50 workers to leave the forest and go to a safe storm shelter.

In Hoa Vang commune, a section of National Highway 14G passing through the commune was eroded due to heavy rain, soil and rocks from the hillside and fallen tree branches covered the road surface, obstructing traffic. Immediately after the incident, Hoa Vang commune authorities coordinated with the road management unit to mobilize human resources and machinery to dredge and clear the soil and rocks. By September 28, one side of the road had been cleared and was being treated to ensure traffic safety.
