Vietnam Tourism Awards encourage businesses to apply advanced technology

The Vietnam Tourism Awards is the most prestigious award in the industry, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, honoring businesses, organizations, training facilities and media agencies that have made positive contributions to tourism development.

This year is the 20th time the award has been held, in the context of many important events taking place in the country.

At the press conference, Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director of the National Tourism Administration, said that the 2025 award promotes the economy , encourages investment, innovation, empowers the community, protects natural resources and spreads cultural and social values. This is also an opportunity to promote the image of Vietnam as friendly, safe and attractive.

At the same time, encourage businesses to continuously innovate, apply advanced technology, improve product and service quality, and better meet the diverse needs of domestic and international tourists.

This year, Vietnam tourism recorded many positive signals. In the first 8 months of 2025, Vietnam welcomed nearly 14 million international visitors, serving about 106 million domestic visitors. Total revenue from tourism reached about 707,000 billion VND.

Besides, Vietnam tourism continues to improve its position in the tourism development capacity index assessment report of the World Economic Forum (WEF).

In order to honor businesses and organizations that have made positive contributions to the development of Vietnam tourism, the Vietnam Tourism Awards are held.

Evaluation criteria are clear and transparent; the candidate list is strictly assessed and selected from typical and outstanding units in industry development.

The 2025 awards ceremony took place on World Tourism Day (September 27), responding to the message of transforming sustainable tourism launched by the United Nations Tourism Organization (UN Tourism).
