Hanoi adjusts time for 10th grade entrance exam

Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong said: Implementing the 2025-2026 school year plan framework newly issued by the Ministry of Education and Training , the 2026 high school graduation exam is expected to take place on June 11 and 12, 2026 - 2 weeks earlier than in 2025.

The 10th grade entrance exam for Hanoi public high schools for the 2026-2027 school year will take place after the 2026 high school graduation exam.

The planned earlier organization of the exam is consistent with the school year plan and creates conditions for students to have time to review for the exam; at the same time, it avoids unnecessary pressure.

Based on the above time frame, Hanoi must adjust the time to organize the 10th grade exam. It is expected that Hanoi will organize the 10th grade exam for the 2026-2027 school year at the end of June 2026.

Regarding this content, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will calculate more carefully and in detail to advise the City People's Committee to have a specific and suitable plan.
