In Document No. 6626/UBND-VX1, dated November 23, 2023 of the Provincial People's Committee sent to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Cultural Heritage (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) regarding the proposal to recognize national treasures, Ha Tinh proposed 3 artifacts including: palanquin to welcome the doctoral candidates home, teaching platform of Phuc Giang School and seal of Nguyen Huy Quynh.

The palanquin to carry the doctoral candidates home was made in 1748 to carry Nguyen Huy Oanh (1713 - 1789) when he passed the royal examinations, and then to carry Nguyen Huy Quynh (1734 - 1785) in 1772 when he passed the doctoral examinations to return home to his ancestors. Later, the palanquin was used to carry the angels and human gods in the Ky Phuc ceremonies of Truong Luu village.

The palanquin carrying the doctoral candidates returning home in glory is an artifact made of dổi wood, measuring 3.22m long, 1m wide and 1.06m high (including the removable parasol is 1.71m); weighing 28kg. The palanquin has a 3.22m long carrying pole with elaborate carvings of eyes and dragons; in the middle there is a seat measuring 84cm x 76.5cm and a removable parasol 0.65m high when not in use. The palanquin is in excellent condition and is a unique artifact with many values ​​serving the research of the cultural history of Ha Tinh in particular and Vietnam in general in the 18th century.

The teaching bed at Phuc Giang School is an artifact used by Nguyen Huy Oanh, the first-ranking scholar, to teach. This is where he sat to teach his students from 1732, when he had just passed the provincial exam until later. The bed was also used by many teachers at Phuc Giang School and many other famous scholars when they came here to teach.

The bed is made of pure ironwood and branches, 1.51m long, 1.45m wide, 0.33m high, and weighs 95kg. The four pillars of the bed are carved with elaborate animal figures. The bed is a unique artifact associated with Phuc Giang School, where more than 30 doctors were trained for the country during the feudal regime.

Nguyen Huy Quynh's seal is made of ivory, hexagonal, 1.2cm high, 2.6cm x 2.4cm in area, and weighs 20g.

According to ancient customs, Confucian scholars all had their own seals to print on relevant documents, those who passed the exams and became mandarins often had their own seals. Nguyen Huy Quynh passed the Doctorate exam in the year of Nham Thin 1772, participated in the mandarin career and held the position of Truc Giang at Quoc Tu Giam, Doc Thi Thuan Quang, whenever there was a transaction, he often used his own seal. Nguyen Huy Quynh's seal is a unique copy preserved by his descendants at his temple in Kim Song Truong commune (Can Loc).

All three artifacts are unique antiques, hundreds of years old, preserving many cultural and historical values ​​of Ha Tinh in particular and the nation in general, preserved intact by the descendants of the Nguyen Huy - Truong Luu family. Being certified as national treasures will contribute to improving the conservation work and further promoting the values ​​of the artifacts.
