After being restored and put back into operation on August 1, 2024, Hai Van Quan became a check-in point for domestic and foreign people on the occasion of Tet At Ty.
Hai Van Quan was built in the 7th year of Minh Mang (1826), located on the top of Hai Van pass, at an altitude of 496 m above sea level, in the Bach Ma - Hai Van mountain range. Today, Hai Van Quan is located in Lang Co town, Phu Loc district, Hue city and Hoa Hiep Bac ward, Lien Chieu district, Da Nang city. On April 14, 2017, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism ranked Hai Van Quan as a national monument.

During the warm spring days, people from Da Nang and Hue ride motorbikes and cars to Hai Van Quan to take pictures. The spring atmosphere fills Hai Van Quan. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sau - a security guard at Hai Van Quan said: "Tet At Ty is the first year that people visit Hai Van Quan after 2 years of restoration. Normally, it is mainly foreigners, but during Tet, there are more Vietnamese people. The number of visitors during Tet is estimated to increase 2-3 times compared to normal days."
