At the AI ​​Transformation Conference held on September 5 in Seoul, the Ministry of Employment and Labor announced a free AI labor law consultation website (ai.moel.go.kr) and launched an AI labor law consultation service. Anyone, anywhere, anytime can access it to seek assistance. On the same day, the labor inspector's AI assistant, which can be used by labor inspectors, was also launched.At the AI ​​Transformation Conference, workers, business owners, certified labor lawyers, and labor inspectors discussed plans for a major transformation of employment and labor management using AI to create a workplace where all workers are respected and safe.The Ministry of Labor and Employment explained that the use of AI to support the entire process of handling labor cases, including analyzing case data, conducting investigations, drafting questionnaires, and writing investigation reports, etc., only operates on the Ministry's dedicated cloud platform, so there is no risk of personal information being leaked. Minister of Labor and Employment Kim Young Hoon said that the Ministry's transformation to AI aims to effectively protect all workers beyond the limits of human resources and budget. Therefore, the Ministry will continue to actively pursue the transition to AI. Meanwhile, Mr. Park Ki Hyun - Chairman of the Korean Certified Labor Lawyers Association, said that the AI ​​labor law consulting service is a successful public-private partnership model, contributing to the popularization of labor law by combining the latest technology with the consulting experience of 173 labor lawyers.
