In particular, social work activities in the hospital have made an important contribution to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment through psychological support activities for patients under treatment; organizing recreational activities, teaching English, and teaching drawing to children and mentally ill patients.
In 2023, the Social Work Department of Bach Mai Hospital called for sponsorship of meals for all family members, with a total value of 124.8 million VND; received and supported 5,426 patients with serious illnesses and in especially difficult circumstances with a total amount of nearly 15 billion VND.
