Currently, there are many universities across the country that offer medical training with experienced lecturers and quality programs.
Many young people dream of studying medicine, spending many years to pursue it. To become a good doctor, medical students need to learn a lot of specialized knowledge and skills from books to practice.
Medical career opportunities
The global population is aging, along with health issues that are driving the strong growth of the medical industry. Nurses, medical specialists, medical technicians and pharmaceutical research specialists are always in great demand.
However, many figures in reports show that the medical workforce in Vietnam is still very low compared to the world . It is not even enough to meet the increasing health care needs of the people.

According to the Ministry of Health , the ratio of doctors to people in Vietnam is 8.6; 4-8 times lower than many countries with developed medical sectors. The total number of staff working in preventive medicine from the central to district levels only meets 42% of the human resource needs. The shortage of medical staff is about 23,800 people, of which 8,075 are doctors of preventive medicine, and 3,993 are bachelors of public health.
The number of medical students graduating each year cannot meet the growing needs of society, causing the medical industry to always be in a state of "thirst" for human resources.
This opens up great career opportunities for health graduates, especially medical doctors - who play an important role in examining, treating and curing acute and chronic diseases.
