The People's Committee of Dak Lak province has agreed to let preschool children, primary school students, and continuing education students in Buon Ma Thuot City take a day off on March 10, at a time when the province organizes activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Buon Ma Thuot victory and the coffee festival.
On March 6, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province issued a document allowing students in Buon Ma Thuot city to take a day off on March 10.
Accordingly, based on the request of the Department of Education and Training and the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City, the People's Committee of Dak Lak Province agreed to allow preschool children, students of primary schools, secondary schools, high schools, and multi-level general schools in Buon Ma Thuot City; students of the Provincial Continuing Education Center, and the Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education of Buon Ma Thuot City to take a day off on March 10.

The Department of Education and Training and the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City directed the affiliated educational institutions to organize a make-up teaching plan for students and trainees of educational institutions who were absent from school (March 10) within an appropriate time, ensuring the implementation of the educational plan according to the time frame of the 2024-2025 school year.
According to a leader of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, allowing preschool children, high school students and vocational education students to take a day off on March 10 is to ensure traffic safety and security during the organization of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Buon Ma Thuot victory and the 9th Buon Ma Thuot coffee festival. At the same time, it creates conditions for students and students to have the opportunity to participate in and experience these activities.
It is known that the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025 with the theme "Buon Ma Thuot - Destination of world coffee" takes place from March 9 to March 13 in Buon Ma Thuot City and some localities in the province. The opening time of the festival is on the evening of March 10.
