Specifically, LTTV I increased from 4.96 million VND/month to 5.31 million VND/month (an increase of 350 thousand VND), region II increased from 4.41 million VND/month to 4.73 million VND/month (an increase of 320 thousand VND); region III increased from 3.86 million VND/month to 4.14 million VND/month (an increase of 280 thousand VND); region IV increased from 3.45 million VND/month to 3.7 million VND/month (an increase of 250 thousand VND).

Previously, at the first session of the National Wage Council (held on June 26), the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor proposed two options to increase the minimum wage, ensuring a minimum living standard for workers of 9.2% or 8.3%.

According to Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Vice President of the National Wage Council Ngo Duy Hieu, the proposed 7.2% increase in minimum wage will meet the wishes of union members and workers nationwide; at the same time, it also demonstrates the spirit of sharing the difficulties of businesses. After the Government officially decides on the 2026 minimum wage increase, the General Confederation will organize propaganda for workers to agree and support to continue working with high productivity, good quality, and develop businesses to join the whole country in entering a new era.
