15th Conference of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Journalists Association (expanded)

On the afternoon of July 4, the Provincial Journalists Association held the 15th Executive Committee Conference of the Provincial Journalists Association (expanded), term 3, term 2019-2025. In the first 6 months of 2025, the activities of the Provincial Journalists Association have had many innovations and creativity, achieving comprehensive and outstanding results in all aspects of work. The leadership and direction work has focused on key points, especially chairing, coordinating and advising on the successful organization of a series of activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, creating a deep impression; such as: Exhibition of Quang Ninh Press History; Seminar "Quang Ninh Journalists learn and follow Ho Chi Minh's journalism style"... The Association also launched many peak emulation periods, encouraging members to create high-quality journalistic works, responding well to information and propaganda work, thereby having many good works participating and winning high prizes in press competitions and awards of the Central, the province and departments, ministries, branches and organizations.

Professional, social, charitable and foreign affairs activities are organized in a diverse, practical and influential manner, attracting a large number of members to participate. The role, position and prestige of the Association and journalists in Quang Ninh continue to be affirmed and enhanced. The material and spiritual life of members is cared for, thereby strengthening solidarity and cohesion in the provincial press.

In the last 6 months of the year, the Executive Committee of the Association focused on leading and directing the Inter-Associations and Sub-Associations to encourage members to actively inform and propagate the key tasks of the province and the country; effectively carry out the work of bringing the Association under the direct control of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; successfully organize the 9th Congress of the Quang Ninh Provincial Journalists Association; complete the compilation and publication of the book "History of Quang Ninh Journalism"; implement professional training programs, especially focusing on AI application and digital transformation; maintain good foreign affairs, exchanges, and experiences at home and abroad...

Veteran journalists contribute ideas on the outline of the book History of Quang Ninh Journalism.

The Steering Committee and the Editorial Board of Quang Ninh Journalism History also spent a lot of time discussing and listening to the opinions of veteran journalists on the general outline of the publication. At the same time, they agreed on the progress of completing the detailed outline, collecting documents, organizing workshops, completing the manuscript, asking for opinions from competent agencies... determined to complete and publish the publication on schedule in 2025.
