On the afternoon of January 3, comrade Tran Song Tung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a conference to listen to a report on the construction of temporary business locations to relocate business households at Rong market, Van Giang ward, Ninh Binh city to serve the site clearance work for projects.
Also attending were leaders of a number of departments, branches, the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, leaders of Ninh Binh City People's Committee, Waterway Transport Corporation - JSC, Ninh Binh Port Joint Stock Company.
At the conference, leaders of departments, branches and units reported on the situation and progress of implementing two projects: the Nam Song Van Irrigation Cluster Project and the Cha La Bridge Construction Project.
Specifically, for the dredging and embankment project to prevent landslides on both banks of the Van River from Van Giang Bridge to Lim Bridge, part of the Nam Van River Irrigation Project, invested by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Ninh Binh Province, with a total investment of 600 billion VND. Started on July 17, 2023, the construction value of the Project has reached 97/395.4 billion VND. The site clearance work is currently stuck at 650m, of which the West bank is stuck at the section through Rong Market with a length of 355m.
For the Cha La Bridge Construction Project, the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Traffic Works is the investor with a total investment of over 133 billion VND. The project started on October 9, 2023, and is currently constructing pillar P2, abutment M2 and the intersection on Le Dai Hanh Street; pillar P1, abutment M1, and the approach road on Rong Market have not been constructed yet due to problems in site clearance.
At the conference, delegates focused on discussing solutions to speed up the construction of temporary business locations to relocate business households at Rong Market, Van Giang Ward to serve the construction of the above two projects. Accordingly, the temporary business location is located on the land east of the railway in Thanh Binh Ward of Ninh Binh Port Joint Stock Company with an area of about 6,200m2. This is an area leased by the State, currently vacant and unused; on the other hand, according to the Planning, it is subject to relocation and land recovery.
Speaking at the conference, comrade Tran Song Tung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: These are two projects of important significance, demonstrating the province's determination in creating urban space, serving the task of socio -economic development. Site clearance for the construction of the above projects is necessary to meet the completion schedule before 2025.
He requested the departments, branches, Ninh Binh City People's Committee and construction units to actively speed up the construction progress of the items, promptly report difficulties and problems to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and resolution. At the same time, assigned Ninh Binh City People's Committee to urgently carry out clearance procedures for Rong market to serve the construction to meet the set progress.
Regarding the Waterway Transport Corporation - JSC, Ninh Binh Port Joint Stock Company, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that enterprises support, accompany, and return part of the land to build roads and temporary business locations, contributing to stabilizing trading activities for people and speeding up the planning progress of the province.
