National conference on training on artificial intelligence applications for Party committees at all levels

On the morning of September 9, in Hanoi, the Party Central Office - Standing Agency of the Central Steering Committee on Science, Technology Development, Innovation and Digital Transformation organized a National Conference on training on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) for officials of Party committees and agencies at all levels (phase 1).

Comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Comrade Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province attended the Conference at the Lam Dong bridge point.

The conference was connected online to nearly 4,000 points at the central, provincial and communal levels nationwide.

Also attending were leaders of the advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council Party Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Party Committee, the Political School Party Committee, the Lam Dong Newspaper and High School Party Committee Party Committee; leaders and civil servants of the advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee, advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee and the provincial Party Committee agencies.

In Lam Dong province, the conference was connected to the following points: Provincial Public Security Party Committee; Provincial Military Command Party Committee; Provincial People's Committee Hall and communes, wards and special zones throughout the province.

In his opening speech, comrade Vo Thanh Hung, Deputy Chief of the Party Central Office, emphasized: The conference aims to contribute to improving digital capacity for cadres and civil servants working in the Party at all levels, helping to master AI technology.

Thereby, contributing to the successful implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation and major policies of the Central Steering Committee on science and technology development and innovation.

Through the Conference, we aim to raise awareness of the role, potential and orientation of AI application in innovation, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the work of cadres, civil servants and public employees at Party committees and agencies at all levels.

Along with that, equipping learners with basic knowledge and skills in using some popular AI tools to support tasks such as: Consulting, synthesizing information, analyzing documents, preparing drafts and proposing solutions to serve the work.

At the same time, it contributes to forming the right attitude in using AI responsibly, safely, securely, in accordance with political and legal orientations in the context of digital transformation.

At the Conference, delegates were briefed by senior lecturers and main lecturers of the University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi on the following topics: Overview and role of AI in Party work (basic concepts, development trends, AI application scenarios in research, consulting, synthesizing, and analyzing documents); learning about popular AI tools today (ChatGPT, Gemini, Notion AI, Canva AI).

In addition, delegates were also trained in the skills of applying a number of AI tools to support staff work, document synthesis and analysis, report writing, planning, document synthesis, etc.

Delegates attending the training were also informed about the responsible use of AI, ensuring security, ethics, and compliance with regulations. At the same time, they had their questions answered and experiences shared when using AI in party work.

According to plan, the first round of the conference will be held on September 9 and 10 and the second round on September 11 and 12.
