More than 530 new businesses were established

Along with the economic recovery, production and business activities in the province continue to develop steadily. The number of newly established enterprises in the area and registered capital tend to increase.

Since the beginning of the year, 533 enterprises in the province have been newly granted business registration certificates with a total registered capital of more than 5,300 billion VND. The province has implemented the time to process business registration procedures below the national average, maintaining the model of "No waiting on Monday" in the field of business registration, which has been highly appreciated by people and businesses.

The number of newly established businesses tends to increase.

The province has also focused on directing the development of an action program of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and a plan of the Provincial People's Committee to implement Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW, dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on private economic development. This is considered a breakthrough in economic development thinking, creating a strong driving force for the private economic sector. By the end of June 2025, the total number of enterprises in the province will be about 12,700.

However, the production and business activities of enterprises in the area generally still face many difficulties; the total number of dissolved and temporarily suspended enterprises is higher than the number of newly established enterprises, which is also a common situation in the whole country.

According to information from the Ministry of Finance , in the first 5 months of the year, nationwide, more than 111,000 enterprises withdrew from the market; notably, this number is only 200 less than the number of newly established and re-operated enterprises. Meanwhile, this number in Quang Tri province is: 68 dissolved enterprises, 664 enterprises temporarily suspended operations and 235 enterprises resumed operations.
