Meeting of the Organizing Committee for the opening activities of the Tourism Year of Tuyen Quang province

Comrade Hoang Viet Phuong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors; leaders of districts and cities.

The Tuyen Quang Tourism Year aims to promote the potential, advantages of tourism development and new tourism products of the province. From there, it will stimulate demand, attract domestic and international tourists, contributing to promoting and accelerating tourism development. The opening ceremony is expected to take place on April 25 at Flamingo Tan Trao with a series of activities organized throughout the period from the opening day to May 4.

Within the framework of the program, activities will take place such as paragliding demonstration in Tan Trao commune (Son Duong) and Tuyen Quang city from April 25 to May 1; announcement of the launch of the typical tourism product "Old War Zone - New Experience" at Tan Trao Special National Relic Site; product "Journey of Discovery" at Na Hang - Lam Binh eco-tourism area; exhibition and introduction of Tuyen Quang craft village tourism products; Conference on connecting trade and tourism in Tuyen Quang; cycling race for Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup; provincial-level sports tournaments... On this occasion, 7/7 districts and cities jointly organized many activities in response to the Tourism Year.

Up to this point, preparations are being carried out by localities according to the set plan.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Hoang Viet Phuong requested that districts and cities must build tourism products with their own brands and characteristics. Along with that, they must renew traditional tourism products. Organizational work must ensure professionalism, supporting activities and accommodation facilities must be synchronized.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism spoke at the meeting.

With not much time left until the opening ceremony, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the leaders of the provincial departments, branches, agencies, units, and related districts and cities to base on the plan of the Provincial People's Committee, closely coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to implement the assigned programs and work contents, ensuring progress and quality. If there are any difficulties or problems, they should proactively coordinate with the host unit to resolve them and have the best solution.
