The activity is within the framework of the Conference on promoting, advertising and cooperating in building tourism products between Hanoi and the provinces of the Central - Central Highlands region, which took place on the afternoon of September 24 in Buon Ma Thuot ward, Dak Lak province.
The conference was attended by leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Tourism Promotion Centers of Dak Lak , Lam Dong, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai and Quang Ngai provinces.
At the conference, representatives of Lam Dong tourism industry expressed their hope that the Department of Tourism of Hanoi City and the provinces in the Central Highlands region will join together to concretize cooperation programs more practically, such as: assigning focal points to regularly contact, exchange, and provide general information about events and tourism programs; investment promotion activities, promoting tourism through local media channels, linking websites, stimulus programs, etc. Building inter-regional tours and tourism routes with regional brands to link products; cooperating together to promote key markets.
Lam Dong Province and Hanoi City also agreed to cooperate to exploit and promote the potentials and strengths of the two localities in the tourism sector, creating close connections and active coordination, contributing to the tourism development of the two localities in particular, and the Vietnamese tourism industry in general.
From there, attract social resources to promote sustainable tourism development, preserve and promote traditional values, historical culture, attach importance to environmental protection, contribute to increasing economic, cultural and social benefits. Create a favorable business environment, support and facilitate businesses of the two localities to exploit, trade services and develop tourism.
Regularly exchange information on the tourism situation of the locality; solutions to promote tourism, information on the market, trends and needs of domestic and international tourists, stimulus policies, etc.
Organize programs, conferences, seminars to learn experiences and exchange between the two localities in the field of tourism to improve management skills in the process of performing tasks and tourism management skills.
