In 2023, Thuan Bac district achieved 13/14 targets and plans. The production value of all sectors is estimated at 10,951 billion VND, exceeding 1.8% and increasing by 11%; the total social investment is estimated at 4,180 billion VND, exceeding 2%, increasing by 18% compared to 2022. Health, education, and social security tasks were well implemented; security and defense were ensured. The work of building a strong and comprehensive Party and political system continued to be promoted and achieved positive results. During the year, 57 new Party members were admitted, reaching 100% of the target.

The conference unanimously approved the resolution on the direction of implementing tasks in 2024 with the main goal: Striving to bring the total production value of all industries to 12,984 billion VND, an increase of 16.6% compared to 2023; total investment capital for social development is expected to reach 4,380 billion VND; the poverty rate decreases by 4.5%; the health insurance coverage rate reaches 97%; on average, communes meet 17.5 new rural criteria; military recruitment reaches 100% of the target; admitting 55 new party members; 90% or more of grassroots party organizations successfully complete their tasks.
