Previously, on November 25, 2024, Tuoi Tre Online published an article "Sending children to study abroad in place" at an American school, unexpectedly it was just an English center.

Explained twice differently

Many parents in Da Nang send their children to "American schools" in the form of "on-site study abroad" with tuition fees of about 100 million VND per year.

According to feedback, they were introduced here to teach according to the Prinberk Academy curriculum of Prinberk School in the US, in the form of "on-site study abroad".

Through inspection, the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang confirmed that the center used internal documents for teaching. At the same time, it handled a number of related violations such as teachers not meeting standards, not publicizing legal documents, programs, staff, tuition fees, etc.

Not agreeing with the above conclusion, parents continued to complain. Tuoi Tre Online also found many tuition receipts with information about Prinberk Academy at the address of Thien Lap Nhan Center with the signature of the center's staff; many text messages discussing the Prinberk Academy program between the center's teachers and parents.

On November 27, 2024, the Department of Education and Training and Da Nang City Police continued to work with Mr. Truong Van Thien Tu, investor and director of the center.

Mr. Tu said that the center is not affiliated with Prinberk Academy, only introduces studying at Prinberk Academy online and supports students in their studies if needed. This is different from the previous assertion that it has no connection with Prinberk.

Warning about confusing center and school

The Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City said that the representative of the Internal Political Security Department of the City Police has requested the center to advise and guide parents to follow the regulations on primary education; warned the center to avoid giving advice and guidance that can easily cause misunderstandings and misinterpretations, leading to violations of the law, causing insecurity and disorder...

At the same time, the Department of Education and Training requested Thien Lap Nhan Center to organize teaching in accordance with regulations and review the agreement with parents. Clarify the tuition fees for English learning at the center as well as the relationship between the center and Prinberk Academy; do not confuse the center and Prinberk Academy.

Parents fear it will affect their children's future.

Many parents who asked to remain anonymous said they were very worried that if the center stopped operating, it would affect their children because they had been transferred from high school to study entirely at the center under the Prinberk Academy program. If they returned, it would be difficult to keep up with the age-appropriate curriculum. In addition, most families planned to send their children abroad in the future.

According to research, Prinberk Academy offers online education programs in the form of homeschooling. Many study groups nationwide advertise this as an "on-site study abroad school" that teaches the Prinberk School program in the US.
