Latest results and rankings in round 2 of V.League 2025/26

VHO - Football fields across the country were really exciting with exciting and dramatic matches in round 2 of V.League 1 2025/26, which took place last weekend.

In the earliest match, The Cong Viettel took advantage of home field to win 3-0 against Cong An TP.HCM, the team that had just had a convincing 2-1 victory against Hanoi FC.

Also winning 3-0 in this round is The Cong Viettel against Becamex TP.HCM - the team that had an impressive start with a 3-0 win over HAGL in round 1.

The biggest surprise in round 2 was the 1-2 defeat of defending champion Nam Dinh at SLNA stadium.

With high spirits after the 2-1 victory over Hai Phong in round 1, Nam Dinh were rated higher in this encounter but the defending champions even returned empty-handed.

Meanwhile, Ninh Binh - the rookie team that impressed with a big 3-1 win over Ha Tinh in the round, continued to maintain high form when winning 4-0 against Thanh Hoa.

Another rookie, PVF-CAND, suffered a 1-3 defeat in their away match at Hai Phong.

Along with that, Hanoi Club could not recover from the defeat in round 1, when they drew 0-0 with HAGL.

In the remaining match of this round, Ha Tinh had their first win when they defeated SHB Da Nang 1-0 away.

After round 2, rookie Ninh Binh is the only team with all wins, leading the rankings with 6 points.

Behind are Hanoi Police and Viettel The Cong with 4 points each, followed by a group of 7 teams with 3 points each.

At the bottom of the table are the teams with 1 point: Hanoi Club, SHB Da Nang, HAGL and Thanh Hoa.
