Opening of Danang Finance and Technology Week 2025

Da Nang Finance and Tech Week 2025, taking place in Da Nang city from August 28 to August 30, 2025. The event is organized by the People's Committee of Da Nang city and the Central Policy and Strategy Committee.

Attending the event at the Central level were Party Central Committee member, Head of the Party Central Committee's Policy and Strategy Commission Nguyen Thanh Nghi; Party Central Committee member, Permanent Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee's Policy and Strategy Commission Thai Thanh Quy; Party Central Committee member, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee's Policy and Strategy Commission Pham Dai Duong; and Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc.

Regarding the city's leaders: Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the City's National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Van Quang; Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet; Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Ngo Xuan Thang.

The event was attended by delegates from nearly 30 diplomatic agencies, 50 experts, international speakers and more than 320 delegates representing leaders of departments, ministries, branches, agencies, localities, members of the Prime Minister's Policy Advisory Council, international financial organizations, strategic investors, corporations, enterprises, financial institutions, banks, investors, etc.

The Da Nang Finance and Technology Week 2025 is a series of important activities to promote international cooperation, attract investment and develop key science and technology fields that Da Nang is focusing on and prioritizing. The event is organized in person at the Da Nang City Administrative Center combined with online.

This will be a forum for discussing bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Vietnam and the international community in the financial sector, contributing to enhancing the position of Vietnam as an international financial center. Promoting the application of blockchain technology in key economic sectors, and at the same time receiving opinions to perfect the testing mechanism (sandbox) for digital assets;

Exchange expertise, update trends, propose cooperation in the field of semiconductor microchips; promote R&D - pilot production - commercialization linkage, especially in advanced packaging technologies and photonic chips; promote the potential, advantages, cooperation and investment opportunities of Da Nang and Vietnam to the business community, investors and international organizations.

Connecting three pillars of finance - blockchain technology - semiconductor chips in a series of integrated events, aiming to build the Danang brand to become a new center of international finance, innovation and core technology in Vietnam and the region, developing rapidly and sustainably based on science, technology, innovation and international integration.

The Vietnam Annual Financial Forum 2025 had more than 400 delegates attending. The Forum is an important event in the process of building an international financial center in Vietnam, at the same time opening up a space for bilateral and multilateral cooperation discussions between Vietnam and the international community in the financial field, enhancing the position of the Vietnam International Financial Center in the global financial center rankings (GFCI).
