Da Nang to host Vietnam Blockchain Day 2025

Attending the event were Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Pham Dai Duong; Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh; Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Quang Buu and more than 300 delegates, experts, and speakers in the field of blockchain and digital assets.

At the event, 7 presentations by experts from Vietnam, Singapore, and the UK focused on analyzing blockchain development trends, tokenization, stablecoins, and the digital asset market.

In addition, 6 thematic panels discussed topics: legal framework, open blockchain infrastructure, smart cities, tokenized markets, the role of exchanges and audit standards.

Notably, the public-private dialogue session: Shaping the future of digital assets in Vietnam brought together policy-making agencies, professional associations and typical enterprises to discuss development orientations, perfect the legal framework and build operating standards for the domestic digital asset market.

Speaking at the event, Party Central Committee member and Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Pham Dai Duong affirmed that Vietnam has a great advantage in terms of young, technology-savvy human resources and a rapidly developing digital market. These are important factors for Vietnam to make a breakthrough and affirm its position in the blockchain field.

He emphasized that blockchain has the potential to solve challenges, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and create new business models. Applying blockchain in digital assets, Fintech, product traceability, digital data management, information authentication, etc. will open up new development space for Vietnam's digital technology industry, in line with the National Strategy on application and development of blockchain technology by 2030.

In recent times, Da Nang has implemented many mechanisms and policies to support innovative startups, while promoting the construction of an International Financial Center and a Free Trade Zone. This is considered an important foundation to attract investment in the blockchain ecosystem and digital assets.

Mr. Pham Dai Duong highly appreciated the proactive and careful preparation of Da Nang city, and emphasized that Vietnam Blockchain Day 2025 is an opportunity for experts, developers, businesses and investors to promote blockchain applications in key economic sectors, calling for investment in innovative start-up projects based on this technology.

Within the framework of the festival, the People's Committee of Da Nang City signed a memorandum of understanding with the following enterprises: Digital Treasures Centers Pte. Ltd. (Singapore), Verichains Company Limited, Bybit Fintech Company Limited, Abu Dhabi Blockchain Company (UAE) to promote research, application and development of blockchain in Da Nang and Vietnam.
