Opening of Cardiovascular Center of Danang C Hospital

DNO - On the morning of July 1, Da Nang C Hospital held an opening ceremony for the Cardiovascular Center, marking a new development step in the examination and specialized treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

The Cardiovascular Center was established under the decision of the Minister of Health and the Director of Da Nang C Hospital, with the goal of providing high-quality medical examination and treatment services, applying advanced technology and modern treatment methods. The Center has a scale of 110 beds, located in the Department of Internal Medicine, Interventional Cardiology Unit and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.

The equipment at the center is invested synchronously and modernly, including: two digital angiography systems, coronary MSCT machine, cardiovascular MRI, IVUS intravascular ultrasound, artificial heart-lung system, 4D echocardiography machine with esophageal probe, aortic counterpulsation balloon machine, Holter electrocardiogram and blood pressure systems, and many other specialized resuscitation and emergency equipment.

Currently, the Center regularly performs complex cardiovascular intervention techniques such as: coronary angiography, lower limb and renal artery intervention, abdominal aortic aneurysm treatment with stent graft, cerebral vascular intervention, TACE hepatic embolization, permanent pacemaker surgery, diagnostic cardiac catheterization, treatment of varicose veins with endovascular laser and sclerotherapy injection. As of May 2025, the unit has performed over 10,000 imaging and intervention cases, meeting international standards for professional practice quality.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Hoang Phuong, Director of the Cardiovascular Center - Da Nang C Hospital affirmed: "The establishment of the Center not only meets the need for intensive cardiovascular treatment but also contributes to reducing the load on upper-level hospitals, improving the quality of community health care."
