Cold air is flowing in and today it will affect the Northeast. From December 7, the cold air will be stronger, the North and North Central regions will turn cold with rain.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that currently (December 6), cold air has weakly affected some mountainous areas in the North. Today, cold air will continue to weakly affect other areas in the Northeast.
Notably, around tomorrow (December 7), the cold air will strengthen, affecting the Northwest, North Central, Central Central and some places in the South Central. Northeast wind inland is strong at level 3-4, coastal areas at level 4-5.
Due to the influence of cold air, on December 6, the weather in the Northeast turned cold. From December 7, the weather in the North turned cold, from the night of December 7, the North Central region turned cold. The lowest temperature during this cold air in the North and North Central regions is generally from 15-18 degrees, in mountainous areas 12-14 degrees, in high mountainous areas below 10 degrees.
As for Hanoi weather, today there will be scattered rain, the weather will turn cold; from December 7th the weather will turn cold. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass is commonly 15-18 degrees.
Also due to the influence of cold air, from today until tomorrow night in the North there will be scattered rain and showers. From tomorrow, in the North and Central Central regions there will be rain and showers, locally heavy rain and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
In addition, according to meteorological experts, this cold air mass does not reduce the temperature much but it is quite cold due to rain. Then, around December 10-12, the daytime temperature will increase, with sunshine, and the night will still be cold at 16-18 degrees. On December 12, another cold air mass will continue to appear, and the weather in the North will turn cold again.
The meteorological agency warns that thunderstorms accompanied by tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind can affect agricultural production, break trees, damage houses, traffic works and infrastructure. Local heavy rains can cause flooding in low-lying areas; flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes. Cold weather can affect crops and livestock.
