Review of kindergarten board of directors where teachers beat children

TPO - The People's Committee of Phu Quoc City (Kien Giang) has just requested a review of the responsibilities of teachers and the Board of Directors of Duong Dong Kindergarten, after the incident of a teacher beating a child in class.

On March 27, Mr. Pham Van Nghiep - Vice Chairman of Phu Quoc City People's Committee issued a document directing the Department of Internal Affairs, Department of Education and Training, and Duong Dong Kindergarten to handle responsibilities related to the incident of a teacher beating a child in class.

The Vice Chairman of Phu Quoc City People's Committee cited reports from competent authorities assessing that teachers had committed serious professional violations, while the Principal and Vice Principal in charge of the field of Duong Dong Kindergarten had not fully performed their supervisory and management responsibilities.

Therefore, the People's Committee of Phu Quoc City assigned the Department of Internal Affairs to coordinate with the Department of Education and Training to guide the school to review the teachers' responsibilities, and at the same time advise the City People's Committee to review the school's Board of Directors.

Previously, on March 22, many clips appeared on social networks recording the scene of a teacher at Duong Dong Kindergarten using his hands and strange objects to continuously impact a child's body during class, causing outrage among parents and the community.

After the clip was released, a message believed to be from teacher HN (the teacher who committed the above action) was sent to H.'s parents apologizing, admitting to beating the child, and hoping for the family's sympathy, asking to meet the family in person.
