Strengthening the Editorial Board of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper

According to the decision of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, comrade Nguyen Khac Van was assigned the task of Acting Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper.

On the morning of September 26, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a ceremony to award decisions to officials.

Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, chaired the decision-giving ceremony.

Also attending were comrades: Vo Van Dung, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee; Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Duong Trong Hieu, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Organization Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

Specifically, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee decided to appoint comrade Nguyen Khac Van to hold the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper; and assigned comrade Nguyen Khac Van to be Acting Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper until a decision is made on the personnel position of Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper.

The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee decided to appoint the following comrades: Nguyen Ngoc Anh to hold the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper until retirement according to regulations; Bui Thi Hong Suong to hold the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper; Pham Van Truong to hold the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper.

Also at the ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee decided to appoint comrades Truong Duc Nghia , former Editor-in-Chief of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Newspaper; Le Minh Tung , former Editor-in-Chief of Binh Duong Newspaper, to hold the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper.

Thus, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper currently has 1 Acting Editor-in-Chief, comrade Nguyen Khac Van, and 5 Deputy Editors-in-Chief, including comrades: Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Bui Thi Hong Suong, Pham Van Truong, Truong Duc Nghia, and Le Minh Tung.

Previously, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper organized the reception of personnel from Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau Newspapers to work at Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper.
