Timely extinguishing of forest fire in Hue city

On the afternoon of August 6, Vinh Xuan Border Guard Station (under the Hue City Border Guard) said that the unit had just coordinated with functional forces and local people to promptly control and extinguish a forest fire that occurred in Phu Vinh commune.

According to initial information, at around 12 o'clock the same day, a fire broke out at Lot 93, Block 1, Sub-area 99, in the cajuput forest area managed by Mr. Nguyen Ro (born in 1973, residing in Village 6, Phu Vinh Commune).

Immediately after receiving the news, Vinh Xuan Border Guard Station mobilized dozens of officers and soldiers to quickly move to the scene, coordinating with the Nam Song Huong Forest Rangers, local authorities and people to deploy a fire fighting plan.

Thanks to the synchronous implementation of measures, the authorities controlled and completely extinguished the fire at 1 p.m. the same day, preventing it from spreading and causing great damage.

The cause of the fire is currently being investigated by the authorities.
