The 19th session of the People's Council of Yen Khanh district, term XV

On the morning of July 4, the People's Council of Yen Khanh district, term XV, 2021 - 2026, held the 19th session (regular session in mid-2024).

At the meeting, delegates listened to the Report on the implementation of the socio -economic development plan in the first 6 months of the year, directions and key tasks for the last 6 months of 2024 of the district; report on the work in the first 6 months of the year, key tasks for the last 6 months of 2024 of the Standing Committee of the District People's Council.

Accordingly, in the first 6 months of the year, the District People's Committee has focused on leadership and direction to achieve comprehensive results in all areas: Agricultural production had a good harvest; industrial production, trade and services maintained growth rate.

The national target program on new rural construction is focused on, Yen Khanh district is recognized by the Prime Minister as meeting advanced new rural standards in 2023.

The management of construction investment, land, environment, and site clearance continues to be strengthened. There has been much progress in social culture; social security is guaranteed. Government building, state management, administrative reform, and the fight against corruption and negativity are focused on.

Local defense and military work was strengthened; political security was maintained, and social order and safety were ensured.

The activities of the District People's Council also achieved many remarkable results. In the first 6 months of the year, the Standing Committee of the District People's Council seriously implemented the leadership of the District Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, closely coordinated with the District People's Committee, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district to focus on directing and implementing well the proposed work program.

The preparation and organization of meetings are proactive, thoughtful, and in accordance with legal regulations, creating a basis for the District People's Council to consider and pass resolutions that are close to reality and highly feasible, contributing to promoting socio-economic development and successfully implementing local political tasks.

In addition, monitoring activities continue to be innovated towards improving quality and efficiency. Information and petition work is focused on, well-coordinated organization of voter contact activities, citizen reception, receiving and handling complaints and denunciations of citizens, creating a connection between delegates and voters and people. The working relationship between the Standing Committee of the People's Council and the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district is increasingly strengthened.

At the meeting, the District People's Council listened to and considered reports of the District People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; reports on the work of the first 6 months of the year, directions and tasks for the last 6 months of the year of the District People's Court, the District People's Procuracy, and the District Civil Judgment Enforcement Office.

In the meeting agenda, the District People's Council reviewed and commented on the following reports: The District People's Council's supervision program in 2025; approved the final settlement, adjustment and supplementation of the state budget revenue estimate, district budget expenditure estimate in 2024; adjusted and supplemented the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025, the public investment plan in 2024; projected public investment plan in 2025; allocated the 2024 public investment plan with provincial budget capital to implement the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in Ninh Binh province for the period 2021-2025; approved the Urban Classification Project for Yen Ninh town; approved the investment policy of the projects: Road from Van Giap to Vua Thay Temple (Khanh An commune); repatriated the internal road to build Kim Dong Primary School and some auxiliary items.

Also at the session, the District People's Council carried out personnel work within its authority: dismissed and elected additional positions of District People's Committee members; discussed, questioned and answered questions; voted to pass resolutions of the session.

The 19th session of the People's Council of Yen Khanh district, term XV, took place for 1.5 days, from July 4-5.
