20th Anniversary of Tay Giang High School

Students of Tay Giang High School attended the celebration.

Tay Giang High School was established under Decision No. 3052/QD-UBND dated August 17, 2005 of the People's Committee of Quang Nam Province (old), now Da Nang City. After 20 years of construction and development, the school has gradually affirmed its position in the city's education and training sector.

Every year, the rate of students passing the next grade is over 98%, and the rate of good and excellent conduct is over 96%. In particular, more and more students of the school have achieved high results in city-level excellent student competitions, contributing to enhancing the reputation of the school.

Director of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City Le Thi Bich Thuan (right) presented a symbolic plaque of the Da Nang Association in Ho Chi Minh City donating a clean water filtration system to the school, worth 75 million VND.

Over the past 20 years, Tay Giang High School has had 2,686 high school graduates, contributing over 65% of the main human resources for the three communes of Tay Giang, Avuong and Hung Son. Among them, many are key leaders in agencies and units; more than 500 students became teachers and managers of schools from kindergarten, primary, secondary and high school; 30 students became doctors, nurses and caregivers at medical facilities; more than 150 students joined the armed forces such as: police, army, border guards...

Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City Pham Tan Ngoc Thuy (white shirt in the middle) presented certificates of merit to individuals who have made many contributions in 20 years of building and developing Tay Giang High School.

In recognition of outstanding achievements in teaching and learning, at the ceremony, the Department of Education and Training awarded certificates of merit to 1 collective and 10 individuals who had outstanding achievements in the 20 years of building and developing Tay Giang High School.

On this occasion, the Da Nang Association in Ho Chi Minh City donated a clean water filtration system to the school, with a total value of 75 million VND; the Tay Giang Commune Economic Department and Tuan Tu Construction Trade Investment Company Limited donated beds to boarding students, with a total value of 25 million VND; former officials, teachers and staff of the school donated 20 million VND in scholarships to students who overcame difficulties to study well.
