In mid-July, Mr. Lu Duy Tuong (27 years old, from Vinh Long) and 2 friends went from Mui Ne to Co Thach beach, Lien Huong commune, Lam Dong province (formerly Binh Thanh commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province) to explore and camp for 2 days and 1 night.

This place is famous for its clear blue water, not too big waves, colorful rocks, and diverse shapes due to the impact of sea water and tides.

However, instead of camping in crowded areas with many people and tourists, Mr. Tuong's group went to Mui Tro - a fishing village "unknown on the tourist map".

The area where Mr. Tuong's group chose to camp has clear blue sea and beautiful stretches of white sand.

"I like to look for little-known places with pristine, rustic landscapes. Looking at the map, I see that this place is isolated from residential areas, not yet exploited for tourism, in front is the sea, behind are low hills and rows of trees.

I couldn't find any information about this fishing village in any travel or camping groups on social media. That made me even more curious," said Mr. Tuong.

To get to Mui Tro fishing village, from Mui Ne, Tuong's group followed National Highway 1A, turned onto Provincial Road 716, towards Co Thach beach. From here, the group continued to move about 2km. The road to the fishing village was a trail, with thick, rutted sand, making it very difficult to move.

The fishing village appeared before our eyes with a few households living by the sea, a few dozen basket boats. In front was the vast ocean, behind was a large low hill range. "The space was strangely quiet. There were no tourists here," said Mr. Tuong.

There are only a few houses near the sea, peaceful space.

"Our group set up tents on flat land next to a pine forest with soft green grass. The weather was beautiful, the sun was strong, the sea was blue, and the wind was cool," Mr. Tuong shared.

The village children play carefree on the beach.

In the afternoon, Mr. Tuong drove his motorbike about 7km to the local market to buy seafood and fruit to cook dinner. The market has a variety of fresh seafood such as snails, clams, oysters, shrimp, squid, fish...

"Tourists from far away should bargain a little. In general, seafood is delicious and reasonably priced, for example, oysters cost 35,000 VND/kg, clams 30,000 VND/kg, squid 220,000 VND/kg, shrimp 250,000 VND/kg," said Mr. Tuong.

Dinner for the group of tourists. They have camping experience so they bring all the necessary cooking utensils.

At night, the moon rose, the wind calmed, and the waves were calmer. The moonlight shone down on the sparkling sea, making the scene even more beautiful and peaceful. "We ate our fill, watched the sea, and slept soundly in the tent. The weather was cool, and the waves lapped softly," said Mr. Tuong.

At night, the scene becomes even more beautiful and peaceful.

In the morning, the group woke up early to catch the sunrise and watched the fishermen bring their boats ashore and quickly unload their nets in time for the early market. When the sun began to rise and the sun began to warm up, the group rushed into the sea to cool off.

Dawn scene

The fishing village people are gentle and simple.

Mr. Tuong said that tourists can also camp at Co Thach beach, where there are more services, then walk along the coast in the morning to find Mui Tro fishing village.

This place is about 2.4km from Co Thach Pagoda, 4.5km from La Gan Cape, 3.3km from 7-color stone beach

From the center of Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Tro fishing village is about 270km.

"This is an ideal place for tourists looking for a beautiful, pristine beach, not crowded or crowded," Mr. Tuong shared.
