Two directors were prosecuted for creating falsified financial statements.

On December 30, the Investigation Police Agency of Nui Thanh District ( Quang Nam ) announced that it had initiated a case, prosecuted the accused and issued a ban on leaving the place of residence against Ung Thuong Hien, Director of My Tan An Cooperative (Tam Xuan 1 Commune, Nui Thanh District) and Trieu Thanh Tien, Director of Tran Gia Company Limited for the crime of abusing position and power while performing official duties, related to the case of creating fake project settlement records, which occurred at My Tan An Cooperative.

The Investigation Police Agency of Nui Thanh District read the decision to prosecute Ung Thuong Hien.

According to the investigation results, Ung Thuong Hien, as Director of My Tan An Cooperative, took advantage of his position and authority to direct the creation of fake documents to settle the accounts for new construction projects and spent the money supported by the People's Committee of Quang Nam province to build a new headquarters for the wrong purpose.

Regarding Trieu Thanh Tien, although Tran Gia Company only constructed and repaired the headquarters of My Tan An Cooperative, Trieu Thanh Tien created false accounting records for the construction of a new headquarters of My Tan An Cooperative to help Ung Thuong Hien make incorrect accounting, causing a loss of 200 million VND to the state.

Currently, the case is being further investigated by the Investigation Police Agency of Nui Thanh District.
