The opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year, associated with the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of National Education, will be broadcast live on VTV1, connecting with educational institutions across the country.

The Ministry of Education and Training has just sent a document to the People's Committees of provinces and cities and universities and vocational training institutions on coordinating the organization of the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year in conjunction with the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training) on ​​the morning of September 5.

The ceremony took place at the National Convention Center ( Hanoi ), broadcast live on VTV1 channel of Vietnam Television and connected online to educational and training institutions nationwide.

The Ministry of Education and Training requests that universities, vocational training institutions, and People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities pay attention to directing the Department of Education and Training to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches, and agencies to coordinate implementation.

Specifically, educational institutions will organize the opening ceremony of the new school year at the same time as the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of National Education and the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year at the National Convention Center (from 8:00 to 9:30 on September 5).

Educational institutions must arrange sufficient transmission lines and equipment to connect online or via VTV1 television channel, and coordinate with local telecommunications and television units to ensure stable signals and good image and sound quality.

Previously, educational institutions could organize activities according to their own compact plans and finish before 8am to prepare to connect with the ceremony taking place at the National Convention Center.

From 8:00 to 9:30, all delegates, teachers and students fully attended the program organized by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Here, the flag-raising ceremony will be performed, the national anthem will be sung at the same time as the flag-raising ceremony at the National Convention Center and a speech by General Secretary To Lam will be heard.

The Ministry of Education and Training recommends that localities and educational institutions have appropriate response plans to weather conditions, ensure traffic safety, security and order, and prevent fires and explosions during the ceremony.
