Participating in PPA Tour Asia - MB Vietnam Cup 2025 is an opportunity for Ly Hoang Nam and Trinh Linh Giang to compete with world-class players such as Ben Johns and Tyson McGuffin.

On the afternoon of September 17 in Hanoi, a cooperation signing event took place between the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) and UPA Asia - the operator of PPA Tour Asia (a professional pickleball tournament system in Asia).

The PPA Tour Asia - MB Vietnam Cup 2025 pickleball tournament will take place in Da Nang from September 30 to October 4. The organizers confirmed that the tournament will have the participation of many famous Vietnamese athletes such as Ly Hoang Nam, Trinh Linh Giang, Phuc Huynh, Truong Vinh Hien and Do Minh Quan.

This is also the first time that top 10 pickleball stars in the world such as Ben Johns, Christian Alshon or "butcher" Tyson McGuffin,... come to Vietnam to participate in an official professional tournament without having to perform.

Therefore, it is not impossible that Vietnamese fans will witness the country's top pickleball stars compete with world-class players. The level of competition between players and the professional quality of the matches are predicted to be very high.

PPA Tour includes: PPA Open (open tournament, gathering many professional and semi-professional athletes), PPA Cup (prestigious tournament, destination of excellent tennis players of the season) and PPA Slam (highest level, similar to "Grand Slam" in tennis, only for the best athletes in the world).

According to Ms. Kimberly Koh - CEO of UPA Asia, this first PPA Tour Asia Cups has 2 locations: Malaysia and Vietnam. The event in Da Nang is the 2nd destination of PPA Tour Asia Cups this year.
