On February 20, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Phuc Ward (Ba Don Town) Nguyen Tien Thanh said that the local government had just organized a dialogue and listened to the thoughts and aspirations, received and resolved the opinions and recommendations of parents of students at Tan My school (Quang Phuc Primary School No. 1).

Tan My school has seriously degraded, the Construction Department Inspection Center requested to close it because it does not ensure safety.

At the dialogue, the government proposed many solutions to maximally support students' travel and learning, such as: Supporting cars to pick up and drop off students from home to the main school; organizing boarding school (eating and resting at school) to limit travel; or organizing online learning; and at the same time, committing to soon rebuilding to replace classrooms that have deteriorated and cannot be used...

However, parents of more than 150 students at Tan My satellite school are still determined not to let their children go to the main school to study, persistently requesting the local government to reopen the satellite school for students to attend.

To ensure the safety of students and teachers, the local authorities did not respond to the unreasonable request of parents. The People's Committee of Quang Phuc Ward requested departments, unions, and the Board of Directors of Quang Phuc Primary School No. 1 to continue to propagate and mobilize parents to send their students to study at the main campus of Quang Phuc Primary School No. 1 so as not to affect the students' studies.

Parents took their children to the Tan My satellite school which was closed in protest.

As Tien Phong reported, due to the serious degradation of the satellite school in Tan My area (belonging to Quang Phuc Primary School No. 1), threatening the safety of students and teachers, this school must close at the end of January 2025.

However, since the Lunar New Year 2025 until now, more than 150 students studying here have not been taken by their parents to the main school to study, causing their studies to be interrupted.
