Hanoi audiences enjoyed wonderful works with top musical quality on the first night of the 3rd Classical Music Festival.
Hanoi Opera House witnessed an impressive musical event in the first night of the 3rd Classical Music Festival. With the theme "The Art of Concerto", the program brought the audience outstanding works.
Opening the program, the audience enjoyed Neopolis Concerto by composer Paweł Łukaszewski, a colorful and energetic work.
The appearance of soloist Emanuel Salvador on violin added to the vivacity of the piece. With his skillful technique and passion, Emanuel conveyed the enthusiasm and sophistication of the piece, keeping the audience glued to the stage. Next was Marcelo Nisinman's 13 Variations on a Polish Melody, which not only immersed the audience in lyrical melodies but also reminded them of their folklore roots.
The next highlight was Ignacy Jan Paderewski's Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 17, 1st Movement , with an excellent performance by soloist Michał Francuz. When the first sounds rang out from the piano, the whole audience seemed to quiet down. The music seemed to touch the hearts of every listener, bringing a deep and sincere emotion. Michał not only played the music but also breathed life into each note, creating an emotional musical story.
The musical atmosphere was further enhanced by Mikołaj Piotr Górecki’s Second Space op. 55, a work that brought together string quartet and string orchestra. The combination of talented artists such as Emanuel Salvador and Magdalena Ziarkowska-Kołacka on violin, Emilia Goch Salvador on viola and Cecylia Stanecka on cello created an emotional atmosphere. The mellow and profound melodies of Second Space pushed the program to a climax, taking the audience into a mysterious musical world .
The program closed with Wojciech Kilar’s Orawa , an iconic piece. The powerful, fiery music brought the audience back to reality, ending an emotional evening with joy and inspiration. The audience’s sustained applause affirmed the power of classical music to connect hearts and souls.
Behind the success of the show is the rigorous training process of the artists, from intense practice sessions to rehearsals. Every note, every rhythm is meticulously honed, creating perfection in every detail. Each artist is not only a performer but also a dedicated artist, dedicating themselves to bring a memorable show.
One factor that cannot be ignored is the effort of the Saigon Symphony Orchestra (SPO) in convincing the Baltic Neopolis Orchestra to come to Vietnam. Thanks to this combination, the audience has enjoyed wonderful works with top-notch musical quality. The cooperation between the Baltic Neopolis Orchestra and the Saigon Symphony Orchestra SPO not only creates memorable musical moments but also opens the door for cultural exchange, bringing a rich and profound experience to all present.
The second night of the 3rd Classical Music Festival will take place on October 21 at the Hanoi Opera House.
