According to information posted by Cau Giay Secondary School, this school has 109 students passing the entrance exam to the National University of Education High School for the Gifted.
Notably, the school has 4/8 valedictorians including: Quan Minh Hong Anh - valedictorian of geography, Nguyen Mai Phuong - valedictorian of literature, Nguyen Khanh Phuong and Dang Hoang Linh - valedictorians of chemistry.

Among the 109 students who passed the Pedagogical Specialization exam of the school, many students passed 2-3 majors. A typical example is Nguyen Khanh Phuong, who was not only the valedictorian of the Chemistry major at the Pedagogical University High School but also passed the Chemistry major at the Natural Science Specialization High School and the English major at the Foreign Language Specialization High School.
Following closely behind Cau Giay Secondary School in the specialized school race is Archimedes Academy Secondary School with 103 students admitted to the Pedagogy major, including 22 students admitted with scholarships.
These 22 students include 3 students passing the math exam, 3 students passing the IT exam, 5 students passing the physics exam, 8 students passing the chemistry exam, 2 students passing the English exam and 1 student passing the biology exam.
Phan Sy Hung Phong - a former student of class 9C3 of the school, who was the valedictorian of the High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences with a perfect score of 10 in chemistry - was on the list of 5 students with the highest scores in chemistry majoring in Pedagogy, in the position of runner-up.
Nguyen Ngoc Phuong Thao - former student of class 9C4, valedictorian of the 9th grade excellent student exam in Hanoi - also passed the second prize in the specialized student exam in Pedagogy.
Up to now, Archimedes Academy Secondary School has 262 students passing the entrance exam to specialized high schools affiliated with universities. Of which, 98 students passed the entrance exam to Natural Sciences, 60 students passed the entrance exam to Foreign Languages, 103 students passed the entrance exam to Pedagogy, and 1 student passed the entrance exam to Social Sciences and Humanities.
This number at Cau Giay Secondary School is 246 with 65 passing the Natural Science major, 16 passing the Social Science and Humanities major, 56 passing the Foreign Language major and 109 passing the Pedagogy major.
This year, the National University of Education High School for the Gifted has 420 quotas, an increase of 105 quotas compared to 2023. Of which, the literature and chemistry majors doubled their quotas from 35 to 70. The school opened an additional geography class with 35 students.
The school does not directly admit students who have won first prize in excellent student competitions at the provincial and city levels, and does not have any preferential points. Candidates must take three exams including conditional literature, conditional math, and specialized subjects with a coefficient of 2.
