The Tet holiday is over, life has returned to normal. Many workers have returned to factories, many units have resumed operations, but the mentality of "as long as there is a new day, there is Tet" is still there. Should we?

The idea of resting after a year of hard work, of having only a few Tet holidays a year, and of taking a little more time off and then making up for it later is not really a new thing. Although this way of thinking has changed significantly in recent times, it is true that stagnation has not yet ended.
It must be recognized that a week-long vacation, in many places nearly ten days, is enough for the needs of entertainment, meeting friends, resting with family to restore labor. Therefore, returning as soon as possible to a normal life to study and work is not only natural but also a mandatory requirement, a discipline that each person needs to have.
It is no coincidence that General Secretary To Lam, right in the first meeting of the new year when returning to work after Tet with many contents, including summarizing the organization of Tet At Ty 2025, requested "agencies, units, and localities to immediately get to work after Tet holiday, not to let the situation of celebrating Tet for a long time and neglecting work happen".
There is inertia after Tet. It is like a significant barrier for many people. The thought of working slowly and casually until the end of "January is the month of fun" is frankly still not able to be eliminated immediately. This seems small but in the end, it has an impact, like a significant corrosion on the working efficiency and labor force of society in general.
And it needs to be limited to gradually form a habit, and then eliminated from our thoughts. The fruits of labor have been enjoyed, now is the time to focus on the labor journey of a new year if we still hope to receive better and newer results in life ahead.
Return to daily life with specific tasks for each day, each week, and further plan for each month, each quarter. Likewise, it is still necessary for each person to set for themselves the goals to be achieved. Short-term goals can be six months, a year, longer-term goals can be three or five years as a milestone to aim for.
You can also start the new year by choosing to take an additional course. A short-term skill course with what you lack or a short-term training program on a new subject you love, for example. Or if you have enough time and finance, you can learn and study in a field other than your current major. Why not?
Be proactive in arranging your 24-hour time fund each day to be effective and reasonable. Be proactive in setting milestones in work and life that need to be strived for. Be proactive in building and selecting quality relationships. So each of us is choosing to live proactively in our own way, harmoniously and energetically for a new year.
