Attending the Congress were comrade Pham Van Duc, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province; commune leaders and 121 typical delegates, representing all classes of people and ethnic groups in the area.
Nam Dong commune was established on the basis of merging two communes Nam Dong and Dak D'rong, becoming a new administrative unit with a scale of 38 villages and hamlets. After the merger, the activities of the commune Fatherland Front and its member organizations quickly stabilized, keeping up with new tasks and requirements, actively innovating working methods, attracting the active participation of cadres, party members and people.
During the past term, the commune Fatherland Front has proactively innovated propaganda work, effectively implemented monitoring activities, social criticism and patriotic emulation campaigns and movements. The whole commune organized 33 meetings to meet voters with National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels, receiving hundreds of opinions and recommendations from the people, most of which were satisfactorily resolved. Currently, the commune has 38 mediation teams with nearly 300 members, the rate of cultural families annually reaches 92%, 100% of villages and hamlets have achieved the title of cultural village and hamlet.
The Commune Fatherland Front mobilized the people to donate more than 20,000m² of land, trees, crops and thousands of working days to build rural roads, welfare works and village halls. The "For the Poor" Fund mobilized over 1 billion VND, supporting the construction and repair of 10 Great Solidarity houses with a total value of 665 million VND. In addition, the Commune Fatherland Front also mobilized 464 million VND to support the northern provinces to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.
Speaking at the Congress, comrade Pham Van Duc praised the achievements of the Fatherland Front of Nam Dong commune in the past time, and at the same time requested the Fatherland Front at all levels to continue to promote its representative role, gather and promptly reflect the opinions and recommendations of the people; strengthen supervision and coordinate with the government to deploy emulation movements, apply information technology, digital transformation to the work of the Front, care for and protect the legitimate rights of the people according to the motto "Where there are people, there is the Front".

At the Congress, delegates consulted and elected 69 members of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Dong commune, term I, 2025 - 2030; elected 2 official delegates to attend the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong province. Comrade Cao Van Thuan was trusted to hold the position of Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, along with 4 Vice Chairmen.
With the theme "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", the Congress called on all people and ethnic groups in the commune to continue promoting the tradition of solidarity, the spirit of self-reliance, joining hands with the Party Committee, the government and the Fatherland Front of the commune to carry out patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, contributing to building Nam Dong commune to be increasingly developed, civilized and prosperous.
