Phong Thuy Agricultural Products Production and Trading Company Limited has built a production model for 5 key products: lettuce, cucumber, tomato, various types of chili, and spinach according to GlobalGAP standards at 2 locations in Lam Dong province, namely Dame Farm (Tan Hoi Commune) and Nghia Hoi Farm (Don Duong Commune), with a total area of 7 hectares. The company has equipped facilities to meet the requirements of a GlobalGAP-standard processing factory; built traceability software suitable for the production characteristics of the enterprise; completed and handed over a new logo and 5 packaging samples for 5 key products; trained in applying AI tools to manage orders and analyze the market; continued to complete the e-commerce booth to put it into official operation...
According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lam Dong, in the period of 2022 - 2025, through coordination with the Department of Food Safety of Ho Chi Minh City, the work of managing and improving food safety quality associated with trade promotion has promoted businesses and cooperatives to develop VietGAP, GlobalGAP, and organic certified agricultural production, contributing to ensuring output and creating stable income for producers.
Along with that, Lam Dong increases the application of digital technology to trace the origin, strictly control the quality of products during the process of preliminary processing, processing and transportation to consumers.
Up to now, the entire Lam Dong province has been granted certification standards including: 23,489 hectares of GAP and equivalent; 122,247 hectares of UTZ, 4C, Rainforest Alliance; 4,024 hectares of organic. In safe livestock farming, the whole province has 4 regions with 50 cooperatives (718 households), 67,882 pigs (output of nearly 14,340 tons); 21 VietGAHP farms; 100,700 poultry (9 facilities); 5,860 bee colonies (27 facilities); 1,045 dairy cows certified Organic at Vinamilk Lam Dong Dairy Farm. In aquaculture, there is 1 facility raising commercial white-leg shrimp according to GlobalGAP, BAP and ASC (104 hectares of water surface area); 6 sturgeon farms (200,000 fish/year). The OCOP program estimates that by the end of 2025, the whole province will have 844 3-star products and 90 4-star OCOP products, of which 7 products are being submitted to the Provincial OCOP Council for evaluation to upgrade to 5 stars.
“The entire province has been granted exclusive protection by the Department of Intellectual Property for the following certification trademarks: Bao Lam Avocado, Bao Lam Coffee, Langbiang Rose, Bao Lam Mangosteen, Dung K'no Honey, Bao Loc Orchids; registered the trademark "Da Lat Vegetables" in the Chinese and Singaporean markets, "B'Lao Tea" in China and Japan. It is expected that by the end of 2025, it will continue to register in the Korean and Japanese markets for the trademark "Da Lat - Miraculous Crystallization from the Good Land", informed the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lam Dong.
