According to RIA Novosti, during a joint press conference with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko, President Vladimir Putin said that Ukrainian forces on the Kursk front are trying to retreat in small groups of 2-3 people, but are stuck in areas within the range of Russian fire.
