Mr. Le Van Pham - Head of Phuc Thuan village shared: "To achieve the criteria, the village has developed an implementation plan and assigned specific tasks to cadres, party members, the village front working committee and mass organizations. At the same time, mobilize all resources from support levels, children living far from home and people in the village to build and complete the criteria".

Along with upgrading infrastructure, Phuc Thuan village has encouraged people to change crop structure, renovate mixed gardens, and switch to growing fruit trees with high economic value. Up to now, the whole village has 5 model gardens with income from 50 to nearly 100 million/year and 100% of household gardens are arranged according to the plan.

Mr. Bui Van Hoa's family garden is one of the models that brings in an income of nearly 100 million VND/year. Mr. Hoa shared: "Nearly 4 years ago, I started to renovate the mixed garden to grow new green-skinned grapefruit, Thai jackfruit and vegetables. Thanks to following clean production processes, using only organic fertilizers and bio-fertilizers, not using pesticides, the model brings in 10 times more income each year. Not only improving the family's income, building a model garden also brings a green - clean - beautiful space in the home garden."

Phuc Thuan village was recognized as a model new rural residential area in 2023, contributing to building Thuan Loc commune to complete the criteria to "upgrade" to a ward by 2025.
