Nghe An: Highlights on August 30

* On the morning of August 30, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu received the delegation of Youth Unions from Xieng Khouang, Hua Phan, and Bolikhamxay provinces who came to pay a courtesy visit to the leaders of Nghe An province.

* According to the guidance of the Department of Education and Training, this year, all schools in Nghe An will unanimously organize the opening ceremony at 7:30 a.m. on September 5, 2023.

* This year's Independence Day, September 2nd, coincided with the full moon of the seventh lunar month. Nghe An fishermen returned to shore with the joy of a big seafood catch. Some fishing boats earned over 600 million VND.

* The Thai people in Nghe An celebrate the Flower and Fruit Festival, which is usually held in the seventh month of the lunar calendar.
