Like the character traits in Starfield, every piece of equipment in the game can also possess traits that can change the outcome of a fight. Some penetrate armor, others reduce oxygen consumption, and most are a fun find regardless of the effect that makes players excited and curious. Publisher Bethesda designed most of Starfield's weapons after lessons learned from developing Fallout 4 and Fallout 76. As a result, many players have found gunplay to be one of Starfield's greatest strengths.
A fight in Starfield
Melee weapons in Starfield are not as diverse as Fallout 4, the game offers a wide selection of ballistic and laser weapons - from pistols and sniper rifles to heavy weapons... Unlike armor, Starfield players can also upgrade their weapons to improve random characteristics. Players need time, materials and even luck to upgrade their guns.
As for Morfalath's rifle, which a Reddit user owns and shows off on social media, its properties make it an extremely powerful ballistic weapon. The ability to "pierce" armor along with the "double damage" option for full health targets allows Morfalath to easily take down any enemy in the game. Sharing this rifle named Mammoth with physical damage up to 2,797, Morfalath can own one of the "most terrifying" weapons in Starfield.
Mammoth has Morfalath's awesome options
Very few enemies can survive a 2,797 damage hit and with its armor piercing properties, the Mammoth's damage output really shines. This weapon was found in the early days of Starfield's launch, making players eager to "hunt" for more in the hope of having more powerful options, provided they had to travel to many other planets on the Starfield map.
As Starfield continues to gain widespread support, players are still hoping that publisher Bethesda adds more weapon types in the future as currently, laser and melee weapons are still not comparable to ballistic weapons.
