People in the mountainous commune of Hung Son held a village ceremony to welcome officials to their new jobs.

Mr. Nguyen An - Secretary of the Party Committee of Hung Son commune said that the village and commune joining ceremony was organized according to the traditional culture of the Co Tu people, with the space of a village festival to welcome cadres, civil servants, public employees, and armed forces to work in the commune. At the same time, it expressed agreement and support for the Party and State's policy on the arrangement of 2-level administrative units.

To welcome the delegation, the Co Tu people of the old border communes of Ch'Om, Ga Ry, A Xan and Tr'Hy (now Hung Son commune) wore traditional costumes and stood neatly along both sides of the road to the commune People's Committee headquarters according to the village entry ceremony of the local community.

The festival is solemnly organized, imbued with the traditional cultural identity of the Co Tu people. This is considered a typical cultural feature to pray for peace, hope for luck, connect newcomers to quickly integrate, and work together to build the homeland of Hung Son to develop more and more.

Facing the warm welcome of the local community, the staff, civil servants and public employees of Hung Son commune expressed their emotion and appreciation for the affection and encouragement that the local people had given to the delegation. In the coming time, the local government will strive to work with the people to overcome difficulties and create new development momentum.

"The initial formation of the new administrative unit will still face many difficulties. The collective leadership, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and armed forces of Hung Son commune will unite, always accompany and listen to best serve the people, contributing to the common development of the new Hung Son commune" - Mr. Nguyen An shared.

Mr. An also hopes to receive support, contributions and advice from local people in the coming time, especially village elders, prestigious people, retired officials... to help the commune leadership team successfully complete the assigned tasks.

After performing the ceremonies, the Party Committee of Hung Son commune held the first conference (term I, term 2025 - 2030) to announce the decision to establish Hung Son commune; the decision to appoint members to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and key positions of the Party Committee of the commune.

Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen An holds the position of Party Secretary of the commune; Mr. Ong Van Kiem holds the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune and Mr. Zơrâm Buôn holds the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune.
