The demand for handmade food increases during the Tet holiday season, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Nguyet (owner of an online shop in Bac Ha ward - Ha Tinh city) has received quite a few orders.

Also prioritizing online shopping, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Yen (Thach Quy Ward - Ha Tinh City) shared: "Not only during Tet but also on normal days, I have the habit of going to the "online market" because I don't have much time to choose. This year, I called to order essential items for my family through acquaintances. I just need to register the quantity and time of pick-up, then they will ship to my house near Tet."

The demand for shopping during Tet is high, while customers' time is limited, so shop owners, supermarkets, and online sales sites have changed their customer service plans. Specializing in food, ready-made sticky rice and chicken offerings, Ms. Le Thi Bich Ngoc (Fb Le Ngoc's Kitchen) planned to receive Tet orders a month ago.

Ms. Le Thi Bich Ngoc has prepared a diverse menu to meet the needs of customers during Tet through online sales.

Ms. Ngoc said: “Every year I have to close orders early to have time to prepare materials, mobilize family members, hire acquaintances to work together to ensure quality and progress. Up to now, we have received hundreds of orders in the city and neighboring areas; we will deliver goods from the 23rd to the 29th of Tet according to customer requirements.”

Although not a professional trader, but near Tet, many people also take the opportunity to post items such as: offerings, fresh flowers, ornamental plants, home decorations... on their personal Facebook pages to earn extra income.

Most items are available to serve consumers on the "online Tet market".

The bustling online shopping activities have also led to an equally busy delivery service. With no time to deliver to customers like usual, many online shop owners have contacted to find more shippers to transport orders in the upcoming days before Tet.

According to shipping companies, the period from the end of November to Lunar New Year is always the peak period for mail and parcel delivery. The number of orders during this time will increase by 30-50% compared to normal days of the year. To meet customers' shipping needs, shipping units must add delivery staff.
