Recently, when surfing social networks, it is not difficult to see many users posting images of 1/7 scale figure models of themselves. Notably, creating these images has become easier thanks to AI chatbots.

To create such photos, users just need to access the Gemini tool or similar platforms, upload a clear photo and enter the modeling prompt, the system will return a realistic product as a figure standing on a transparent mica base, next to a screen displaying the 3D modeling process, with a BANDAI-style figure box.

Although it creates vivid photos that attract users on many social networking platforms, this trend is assessed by experts as easily revealing personal information, this data can easily be bought and sold, and used to train AI models.

According to Mr. Vu Ngoc Son - Head of Technology Research Department, National Cyber Security Association, analysis, with the trend of available data sources on the Internet gradually depleting, AI developers are continuously launching new trends to attract more user data, especially image data.

In the data for training AI, images are very valuable. Through clear photos, AI can tell who a person is and even what their interests are.

“Collecting photos and reselling them to data mining and usage companies is quite common nowadays. Users need to be vigilant against trends that use personal images,” Mr. Son warned.

Faced with trends that easily attract social network users, security experts warn that the immediate consequences may be that users will receive many advertisements and annoyances. In the long term, the photos may be exploited for other purposes such as fraud and blackmail.

Because of these risks, users should only use popular AI tools provided by reputable companies.

Limit the use of tools from new manufacturers, avoid installing strange applications on your phone, especially applications that require data access permissions.

Weigh the need for entertainment against the need to protect personal information before making a decision.
