Former Lam Dong Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Xuan Tien passed away at the age of 67

After a period of serious illness, former Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Tien (born May 15, 1958, hometown Quang Tho commune, Quang Dien district, Thua Thien Hue; permanent residence Ward 2, Da Lat city, Lam Dong) passed away at 1:15 p.m. on August 28, 2023 at his home, at the age of 67.

The coffin of the former Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee lies at his private home, No. B51 Golf Valley Planning Area, Ward 2 (Da Lat City).

The visitation begins at 9:00 p.m. on August 28, the memorial service at 6:00 a.m. on August 31. The funeral and burial ceremony will be at 7:00 a.m. on August 31 at Cam Ly Cemetery (Da Lat City).

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tien joined the Party in March 1978 and joined the Party in February 1982. During his lifetime, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tien was a member of the Party Central Committee, terms XI and XII; former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council and Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong province.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tien was awarded by the Party and State with the Second Class Independence Medal, the First Class Labor Medal, the 40-year Party membership badge and many other noble medals and orders.

To express condolences and acknowledge the achievements and contributions of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tien, the Party Central Executive Committee decided to hold Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tien's funeral with high-level funeral rites.
