Spreading the learning and following of Uncle Ho
After 3 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the 12th Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, the study and following of Uncle Ho in the border district of Muong Nhe has created a strong change in the awareness and actions of cadres and party members. In grassroots party organizations, many typical collectives and individuals have appeared, contributing to spreading the study and following of Uncle Ho widely among cadres, party members and the masses here.
To achieve that result, Muong Nhe District Party Committee has requested Party committees and organizations at all levels to develop plans to study and follow Uncle Ho for the entire term and each year. In particular, it is associated with the implementation of resolutions of Party congresses at all levels and the work of building and rectifying the Party to become increasingly clean and strong, patriotic emulation campaigns and movements. Thereby contributing to the basic completion of political tasks of agencies, units and localities.
Secretary of Muong Nhe District Party Committee Bui Minh Hai said: “The Party Committees of the branches, affiliated Party Committees, agencies and units in the district have identified studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in conjunction with implementing the resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels as one of the key tasks, a broad political activity among cadres, Party members, civil servants, public employees and the people. Not only that, the implementation and development of plans have been carried out fully and seriously, closely following the requirements and tasks of the locality; at the same time, the inspection and supervision of the implementation of learning, dissemination and propaganda by grassroots Party Committees during the implementation and organization process have been strengthened. This has had a positive impact on the implementation of the district's political tasks, making an important contribution to socio -economic development, ensuring national defense and security, building a strong Party and political system”.
Regarding the implementation of the 2024 theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style on fulfilling the responsibility of setting an example, building a contingent of cadres and party members with revolutionary ethics and strong political will, contributing to building Dien Bien province to develop rapidly and sustainably", the Muong Nhe District Party Committee has organized 42 implementation conferences. At the district level, a conference of key cadres of the whole district was organized. At the grassroots level, 100% of the branches and affiliated party committees, after receiving the information at the district-level conference, organized study conferences and disseminated it to all cadres, party members and people. The rate of cadres and party members participating in the study reached 94% and more than 15,000 people were propagandized...
Muong Nhe District Party Committee continues to implement many good models and creative ways of studying and following Uncle Ho. After the success of the "No Rest Land" movement, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee continues to launch the "5N Cadres and Party Members" movement. Muong Nhe District Party Committee Secretary Bui Minh Hai said: "5N is the abbreviation of the first 5 letters of the 5 contents that cadres and party members need to implement in order to continue studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, which are: Good personality; setting an example; capacity; enthusiasm; saying goes with doing. The purpose of this movement is to create clear changes in the awareness and actions of cadres, party members and people in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in 2024. At the same time, each Party Committee and Party organization at all levels thoroughly grasps, concretizes and builds specific regulations on pioneering and exemplary behavior in line with the functions, responsibilities and tasks of each organization, force and each cadre and party member in each working position; at the same time, self-reflect and self-correct in the process of cultivating, training and performing assigned positions, responsibilities and tasks.
Replicating advanced models
Although it is a difficult commune in a difficult district, the cadres and party members of Nam Vi commune always uphold the spirit of learning and following Uncle Ho. The commune party committee regularly disseminates and fully implements the content of learning and following Uncle Ho to all cadres, party members and the masses. It concretizes learning and following Uncle Ho in building self-awareness and sense of responsibility for assigned work.

Thanks to that, in 2022 and 2023, the targets and goals assigned by the district on party building, socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and improving the spiritual life of the people in the commune have been well completed. In 2022, the commune reduced the number of poor households by 13%, and in 2023, it reduced the number of poor households by 10.62%. At the same time, the Commune Party Committee admitted 37 party members; in 2 years, it was assessed by superiors as having excellently completed its tasks. As the Head of the Sen Thuong Commune Health Station, Muong Nhe District, Doctor Lo Van Linh always upholds the spirit and responsibility of a Party member, is diligent, dedicated to the village, and enthusiastic about the medical profession and the people in the border area. Doctor Linh always upholds the exemplary and pioneering role in all activities for the doctors and medical staff at the Sen Thuong Health Station to learn and follow. Doctor Lo Van Linh shared: I myself am a Party member, working in a remote area with many medical difficulties. Therefore, I always actively learn and apply many solutions and techniques in examining and treating diseases for the people here. During my work here, especially in the 3 years of 2021 - 2023, my colleagues and I organized medical examinations and prescriptions for 3,271 patients; cured 3 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis; ensured food safety and hygiene, and did not let any poisoning incidents occur in the area..."
Not only the above two typical examples, in the border district of Muong Nhe there are many simple but noble examples in learning and following Uncle Ho. These will be positive factors, contributing to encouraging and spreading the learning and following Uncle Ho in the far western border region. In the coming time, the Party Committee of Muong Nhe district determines to continue to innovate and strengthen the leadership and direction of Party committees and organizations at all levels in organizing and implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW, Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW, including them in the plans and action programs of the Party committees, associated with Party building work, the implementation of political tasks, campaigns, emulation movements, effectively solving pressing and prominent issues in society that people are concerned about.
